Paragon-neo: Port 2 becomes unavailable when running R9

Paragon-neo: Port 2 becomes unavailable when running R9

Problem: when running with uncoupled line rates (i.e. with different interfaces selected for port 1 and port 2), port 2 may become unavailable after a reboot.

Resolution: if this issue occurs, configure both interfaces to an electrical rate (e.g. 100MbE RJ45)

then power cycle the instrument, using either the front panel power button or the soft power button in the GUI then selecting Restart:

Once rebooted, the interfaces can be reconfigured to the desired line rates.

To avoid the issue happening when using mixed rates, ensure that the interfaces are configured to electrical interfaces before any reboots. Note that installing a licence or upgrading the software will cause the instrument to reboot, so to avoid issues, port coupling should be enabled before rebooting.
