Calnex SNE: Maps, Logs and Capture Files
When raising a Service Request with the Calnex Technical Support team, you will often be asked to provide map files, capture data and log files. This article shows you how to get these files from SNE.
SNE Map Files
Map files are stored on the SNE. To access these files, log into your SNE and click on System → File Management and select the Map Files tab to view and download the maps stored on your SNE. Select the required maps from the list, and click on the download button at the bottom of the list as shown in the image on the right below.
SNE Logs
To download the system log files for SNE, go to Help → Support, then click on the Diagnostics button to download the log file. Please note, depending on the size of the log, the file may take a few seconds to download. The Technical Support team needs all the information contained in this .sne log file.
SNE Capture Files
PCAP capture files are stored on the SNE. To access these files, log into your SNE and click on System → File Management and select the PCAP Files tab to view and download the captures stored on your SNE. Select the required captures from the list, and click on the download button at the bottom of the list as shown in the image on the right below.
