Calnex SNE-X: Packet Loss with High Delay

Hardware affected:

SNE or SNE-X with 2 or more 10G cards installed (X710-DA2)

Software versions affected:

SNE: v15.0.0 and v15.0.1

SNE-X: v2.1.0

Issue

When 2 or more 10G cards are installed, unexpected packet drop may be seen when delay of ~4 seconds or more is present on a running map. This packet drop may be up to 4%.

This issue only is only present in versions 15.0.0 and 15.0.1 for SNE and version 2.1.0 for SNE-X.

Fix

A fix for this issue is expected to be included in the next release for the SNE and SNE-X platforms. Updates on the progress of that fix will be included here. Please contact Calnex support if further details are required.
