The modules listed below are those that MUST be used for SyncE jitter testing. These modules have been tested by Calnex to ensure that clock recovery can be bypassed and that they have sufficient bandwidth to allow the jitter performance of the device to be tested accurately. These modules are also known to operate correctly for PTP and SyncE Wander.

SyncE Wander and PTP

For PTP and SyncE Wander on non-PAM4 interfaces, the following modules are known to operate correctly (in addition to those above).

For SyncE wander and PTP at 1G and 10G we expect all correctly configured modules to operate correctly. At other line rates we expect most correctly configured modules to operate correctly.
