Paragon-X: are 10G RJ45 links supported?

Paragon-X does not have integrated 10G copper ports. However, it is possible to enable this by using a suitable RJ45/SFP+ module.

The 10GTek10G module (available from Amazon) does NOT work with Paragon-X at 10G. It does work at 1G.

The module https://www.fs.com/uk/products/66612.html from fs.com is known to work at 10G, and has performance characteristics typically

cTE: ±2ns

dTEL: mean 2ns, max 4ns

dTEH: 15ns pk-pk, mean zero

These modules add around 2.3µs of latency. 802.1AS has a parameter, asCapable, that may have a link delay threshold of 800ns. If your device applies this, the value should be increased so that the device connected through these adapters is seen as asCapable.
