Attero 100G: Releases

If you have a Spirent Attero-100G and a valid service contract, the latest release is available through the Spirent Customer Service Centre (CSC). On the Downloads page, select the Impairment Product Line.

A CSC login is required to access the Spirent software download area. If you do not yet have a login, please register on the site.

If you have a Calnex Attero-100G and a valid service contract, please contact Calnex support by emailing support@calnexsol.com for the latest release.

Known Issues

  • Changing memory allocation with traffic flowing can cause FCS error to occur. It is advised to stop traffic while changing memory allocation.

  • Available disk space is not checked prior to the user uploading PCAP files to the instrument. This could lead to very large files or numerous files filling the instrument hard disk.

  • Physical impairment symbol errors do not work on interfaces which use FEC - i.e. 25GbE SR and 100GbE SR4. This is because the FEC corrects any errors before transmission from A100G.

  • PCAP Import - During remote control analysis, the filename being analysed is incorrectly reported on the GUI.
