The session timeout configuration defines the following:

  • how long an inactive Web Interface session remains open before automatically logging out

  • determines whether or not an inactive Web Interface session can timeout when a network or scenario is actively running

By default, the session timeout configuration is set to 60 minutes and to not allow a session timeout when a network or scenario is actively running.

Use the following steps if you want to change the existing session timeout configuration of the NE-ONE:

  1. From the Web Interface, click Management > Platform Settings > Session Timeout.

  2. From the Session Timeout page that appears, do the following:

  • In the Timeout (Minutes) field, type the value in minutes (or use the up/down arrows) to define the session timeout.

  • If you want to allow the timeout of a session to be possible when networks or scenarios are actively running, enable the “Allow Timeout of sessions with running networks” check box.

  • Click SAVE.

  1. From the Success confirmation dialog that appears, click OK.
