Q: The Sentinel UI shows its position on the Survey screen. Can I hide this, so that remote users cannot locate the instrument?
A: No, it is not possible to hide the coordinates in this screen.
If access to this information needs to be restricted, it is possible to set a password on the VNC (remote) connection using the System - Network and Sharing - Remote Access menu:
Q: Do the measurements (capture files) include the GNSS coordinates?
A: No, they are not recorded anywhere in the measurement files. Any reports generated will also not include any location information.
