The Paragon-X GUI shows a number of green/red indicators, which I believe are referred to as 'soft LEDs'. What do these actually mean in the Connected Slave and Connected Master panels?
The meaning of the LEDs in these panels varies according to whether the test is running in multicast or unicast mode:
Multicast:
Grey | P-X master was receiving Del_Req messages from the Slave but the P-X master is now inactive |
---|---|
Green | P-X master is receiving Del_Req messages from the Slave |
Red | P-X master was receiving Del_Req messages from the Slave but is no longer receiving them |
Unicast Auto:
Grey | P-X master had granted the Slave unicast messaging but the P-X master is now inactive |
---|---|
Green | P-X master has granted the Slave unicast messaging |
Red | P-X master had granted the Slave unicast messaging but this has expired or the slave cancelled it |
Unicast Forced:
Grey | Slave not enabled in configuration, or P-X master is inactive |
---|---|
Green | P-X master is sending Announce/Sync messages to the slave |
Red | (Not used) |
