Question:

What equipment and procedure does Calnex use to do a Paragon-X jitter calibration?

Answer:

The process may include the use of the equipment listed below, and/or other kit which is functionally similar:

  • Agilent 33220A Function Generator
  • Agilent 83752A Synthesiser
  • HP 8596E Spectrum Analyser

as well as various power supplies and accessories such as bespoke breakout boards.

The jitter calibration technique we use is proprietary and results in raw calibration figures which are programmed into the jitter measurement algorithms of the Paragon-X.
