Sentinel: Initial troubleshooting

If your Sentinel is not performing as you expect, there are a number of steps you should perform before requesting further support.

  1. Verify all external cables are connected correctly for selected tests

  2. Generate problem report (Settings→About→Export problem report…)

  3. Shutdown the instrument, power off and on again.

  4. Restore Factory Settings (PresetsRestore to Defaults)

  5. Make sure the latest firmware is running. Firmware can be downloaded from the Calnex website or by contacting your Regional Calnex Representative.
