Paragon-X: Initial Trouble-Shooting

If your Paragon-X is not performing as you expect, there are a number of steps you should perform before requesting further support.

  1. Recall Factory Settings: On the GUI, select SetupRecall Factory Settings
  2. Switch the instrument off and on again
  3. Make sure you are using the latest version of software. You are entitled to the latest version of software if you have a valid CSS Agreement. If not, you are entitled to the last version released prior to the expiry date of your CSS Agreement. Software can be downloaded from the Calnex website or by contacting your Regional Calnex Representative.
  4. Confirm that your PC meets the minimum PC requirements for operating with Paragon-X. See Paragon-X: Minimum PC Requirements for details
  5. If you are having issues with CAT, you should check your .NET installation. See Standalone CAT/PFV: .NET and PC Configuration for details
