Paragon-neo: Getting Capture Files and Logs

When raising a Service Request with the Calnex Technical Support team, you will often be asked to provide capture data and log files. This article shows you how to find these files for Paragon-neo.

This article describes how to get Session Data (i.e user timing captures), Logs (system logs), and Diagnostics Data (system logs & additional data).

Session and Logs Folders

The capture files and logs are stored on the internal filesystem in the instrument, access them using the instructions below.

  1. Access the Paragon-neo file system using Web UI File Management, or the Samba Share (click the links for full instructions if required).

  2. The Sessions folder contains sub-folders each of which contains all the information for a given measurement / capture. Select the Session folder you want (check the date) and copy the entire folder onto your local PC.

  3. The logs are copied as part of the Diagnostics Data function (see below) however they can also be copied manually if required. The Logs folder contains sub-folders that contain all the required diagnostic information. Select the entire Logs and copy the entire folder including sub-folders onto your local PC.
